Single Patient Used Cutting Bur
Cutting burs used in a patient for cavity preparation etc are not used for another patient. This unique facility is available in the centre.
The burs once used for treatment is washed, cleaned, sterilized, packed and given to the patient, they can be reused for him even after he/she comes after years. By this way the centre assures the patient that all measures have been taken to prevent cross infection between patients |

Radiograph
The center provides digital radiography.
The advantage of digital radiography is the total exposure time of a patient to X-ray radiation is very much minimized and thereby the hazard of radiation is nil.
X-rays films that were taken early outside can also be scanned and stored into the computer at the patient’s individual page.On demand, photo copied of X-ray will be given.
Another advantage of digital radiograph is that it can be zoomed and enlarged in any of the region in the X-ray, thereby minimizing the chances of error which is not available in the regular conventional film radiography.

Auto Clave
All the instruments are sterilized by auto clave which is a specialized sterilization devices used to sterilize that instrument 100% free of organisms. The instruments are packed in a sealed pouch which has an indicator, the color of the indicator changes after sterilization, by this way the instruments are free of organisms till they are used in the patient. The centre ensures that all safety measures of cross infection/contamination from patient to patient are avoided. |

When should children first visit a dentist? "First visit by first birthday" According to the children should first visit the dentist when they receive their first tooth or by the child’s first birthday. Early dental care is important for dental prevention in the future. However, dental problems can begin early. A major dental concern for young children is Early Childhood Caries, also known as baby bottle tooth decay or nursing caries.

When should parents begin to clean their baby’s teeth? “The sooner, the better!” The parents should begin dental cleaning at birth, by cleaning their child’s gums with a soft infant toothbrush and water. Unless it is advised by your child’s pediatric dentist, fluoridated toothpaste is not recommended until 2-3 years of age.

How can I prevent tooth decay from a bottle or nursing? To prevent tooth decay in young children, the recommends that children be encouraged to begin drinking from a cup as they approach their first birthday. At nap times or at night, children should not fall asleep with a bottle. It is recommended that nighttime breast-feeding be avoided after the first primary (baby) teeth begin to erupt. Drinking juice or other sugary drinks from a bottle should always be avoided. When such drinks are offered, they should be served in a cup.
